Forney Family Announces New Children's CD Release
West Des Moines, Iowa - Denise Forney and the Forney Family are pleased to announce the release of their new children’s CD entitled, “Criss Cross Applesauce” – Songs that Teach.
The Forney’s will be releasing their CD at “Every Family Rocks,” the premier children’s music festival on Sunday, May 29, 2011. The event takes place 12-5 p.m. at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, in Des Moines. The Denise Forney and family will perform at 1 p.m., along with other grammy nominated headliners Justin Roberts, the Battersby Duo, and They Might Be Giants.
Denise Forney recorded ten original children’s songs with her three children: Rachel (10), Kaitlyn (8) and Jacob (5). They are all featured in the music on the CD including songs, “Criss Cross Applesauce,” “Hello Around the World,” “Ready for Kindergarten,” and “Let’s Go Green.”
Denise has taught music and entertained young children in the Des Moines area for the past ten years. They have performed at “Every Family Rocks since its inception in 2009.
